WHAT AM I INTEREST IN?

Hi, name is Diosa Landazuri and I will tell you some things about myself.

What interests me most at the moment is to finish my studies with good grades, get a job, become independent, improve as a person, continue with the stability of my relationship with my partner, take good care of my health and move forward despite life's obstacles.

I would love to continue studying either here in Colombia or in another country, I love to study and I want that life, God and my pocket allow me to do so, amen.

I would love to travel to different places, get to know other cultures and landscapes and buy a lot of clothes and food.

MY FAMILY

My family is one of the best things I have in this life, it is numerous, loving and of course, united.

I currently live with my older sister, my dad and my two dogs, I don't live with my mom because she is out of the country. The coexistence in my home is good and the atmosphere from time to time is also good, although I keep alone at home since my sister and my dad work all day almost every day.

In my family 98% of us are women, my grandmother, my two aunts and my mother, my 4 cousins and my cousin; one of my cousins has a son who is a boy as well as my younger cousin, they are the only men in the family.

We all love animals, spending time as a family, we celebrate our birthdays together most of the time and take care of each other, I love them.

HOBBIES

Hello, my name is Diosa Landazuri, I'm 21 years old, I'm from Cali and I am a student of 3D Animation at SENA, today I will talk to you about my hobbies.

To be honest, I have a lot of hobbies; I like dancing, eating, video games, board games, talking, movies, going on a trip or going for a walk, I enjoy the scenery every time I do it.  I love shopping for clothes and makeup every chance I get, it's like a kind of therapy for me. I also love spending time on myself like putting on makeup and taking pictures.

Most of the time, I usually listen to a lot of music while I do my homework and spend time with my dogs, I love them with my whole life. Another hobby that I can also mention is that I really like anime and books, but not literary works.

Even though I have so many hobbies, I like all of them equally.

CRIME AND PUNISHMENT

Crime and Punishment, novel by Russian writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky, first published in 1866. His first masterpiece, the novel is a psychological analysis of the poor former student Raskolnikov, whose theory that he is an extraordinary person capable of taking spiritual responsibility for using evil means to achieve humanitarian ends leads him to murder. The act produces in Raskolnikov a nightmarish sense of guilt. The story is one of the best studies of the psychopathology of guilt written in any language.

Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoyevsky was one of the leading writers of Tsarist Russia, whose literature explores human psychology in the complex political, social and spiritual context of Russian society in the second half of the 19th century.

CRITICAL THINKING AND MEDIA LITERACY

MEDIA LITERACY TO PROMOTE CRITICAL THINKING

This qualitative descriptive study aims to characterize ninth grade students' comprehension of media messages, such as television commercials. As such students were involved in media literacy activities during their English as a foreign language classes. It also describes how the students related the advertising messages to their own social and cultural context. In the pedagogical proposal, media education strategies such as questioning and group discussions were used in order to promote critical thinking skills in a public school in the Kennedy district of Bogota, Colombia. The results of this research project showed that building the attitude of the critical thinker and helping students move from passive reception of media messages to active analysis of information requires systematic guidance from the teacher. Consequently, media literacy served not only to build students' critical capacity but also to develop their argumentative capacity. This research project demonstrated that media literacy requires training in higher order thinking skills; just as critical thinking needs the implementation of a series of activities that test their mental capacities.
